PREPARATION GUIDE

DEFROSTING KIN BLUEFIN TUNA

Defrost the tuna on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator overnight. Ensure the meat is resting on a plate to avoid contamination with other foods in the fridge. Tuna should be allowed to ‘bloom’ at room temperature for 10 minutes without any cover, prior to serving. This enables it to restore its full natural colour and allows the intermuscular fat to soften.
